For Siemens’ new administrative headquarters in São Paulo, located on Avenida Mutinga, Oliveira Cotta envisioned a building shaped by best practices in energy efficiency and the pursuit of high-quality interior spaces. The masterplan respects the surrounding Environmental Protection Area, establishing a harmonious dialogue between architecture and nature.
The development consists of six parking levels and six office floors, totaling 51,000 m². Following a German design principle, no employee sits more than six meters from a window, ensuring constant access to natural light and significantly enhancing workplace well-being.
Internal courtyards allow the prevailing southeastern winds of São Paulo to flow through the building, enabling cross-ventilation supported by slender floorplates optimized for thermal comfort. Carefully detailed windows provide natural ventilation while avoiding drafts and cold air currents in winter, ensuring year-round comfort.
