The corporate building occupies a corner lot in a prime area of the city, where height regulations limit constructions to eight floors. This constraint helps preserve the human scale of the Nova Campinas district, an area characterized by generous tree canopies and a well-proportioned urban fabric.
The project’s concept emerges from the strategic shifting of the corporate floor plates, designed as flat, beamless slabs. This displacement creates continuous terraces with integrated planters, enhancing the relationship between the workspaces and the outdoors, while offering more diverse environments that respond to climate and landscape.
The dynamic arrangement of the slabs also forms overhangs and cantilevers that act as passive shading elements, protecting the façades from direct solar exposure. This system maximizes natural light, provides expansive views, and significantly improves the building’s overall energy performance.
At ground level, an open and permeable volume accommodates retail areas and the main lobby. On the corner, the building incorporates an existing public square into its landscape concept, reinforcing its dialogue with the surrounding urban context.
The rooftop hosts an amenity area for building users, offering leisure spaces with remarkable panoramic views of the city and strengthening the connection between architecture, well-being, and the urban landscape.
