Oliveira Cotta was commissioned by Siemens to design this R&D center, located within UFRJ's technology park at Ilha do Fundão, Rio de Janeiro. The design brief required the most modem laboratories to develop hightechnology research for the oil and gas industry. The building was awarded with a LEED Gold certification, acknowledging the application of the best energy efficiency and sustainability practices, improving the quality of the work environments.
